Who comes to closing?

You will be there along with your Real Estate Agent, the Sellers, the Seller’s Real Estate Agent and the Title Agent from our office acting as the closing agent. Your loan Officer may come as well.

What should I expect at closing?

You should expect your closing to take approximately one hour.

An explanation of each document will be given to you prior to signing . If you need further explanation we will be happy to contact your loan officer or you may seek legal counsel before signing the documents.

You can expect to receive copies of all documents in either paper or electronic form.

When you arrive at closing , you will find it to be a relatively easy process. Our closings are conducted by our very knowledgeable and highly trained staff. One of our highest priorities is that you leave feeling comfortable with what you were asked to sign and have a good understanding of the process in which you were involved.

What should I bring to closing?

Always bring a government issued ID Card, such as your driver’s license. Some lenders require two forms of identification.

If you are married, your spouse will most likely need to be in attendance and bring their government issued ID as well.

A Certified or Cashier’s Check for your closing costs. You can find out the exact amount you will need to bring by contacting your lender or our office a day or two before closing.

If funds are required at the closing you must have them delivered in the form of a cashier’s check made payable to “WoodStone Settlement Services LLC”.

Can I wire my funds?

Yes, you can send the funds needed for closing to us via a Wire Transfer. You will need to contact us and we can go over that process with you.
